The Lunar III series is the successor to the highly successful Lunar I series in fine gold (1996-2007) and Lunar II series (2008-2019). The series is based on the 12 signs of the zodiac of the Chinese lunar calendar. The Lunar III series in fine gold started in 2019.
The portrait of King Charles III. is depicted on the value side, while the motif side features a Snake. The motif changes annually, the complete series runs for 12 years - corresponding to the 12 signs of the zodiac.
