Do you have any questions?
How much does 1 kg of copper bar cost?
The price of a 1 kg copper bar is based on the current copper price and can vary slightly depending on the manufacturer, purity, and processing. Copper is one of the more affordable precious metals, but like other commodities, it is subject to price fluctuations due to supply and demand.
At Geiger Edelmetalle, we offer copper bars ranging in weight from 5 oz to 5 kg. A 1 kg bar is also available in our range and costs approximately €33 including VAT.
Which is better, buying copper bars or copper coins?
Copper bars are ideal for investors who want to acquire larger quantities of copper as a valuable investment. Copper coins, on the other hand, are often more elaborately designed, making them attractive to collectors, but usually carry a higher premium per gram.
Since copper is less valuable than gold, silver, or other precious metals, we recommend buying bars, as individual coins are generally not profitable.
Does it make sense to invest in copper?
Copper is an important raw material in industry, especially in the electronics industry, and is becoming increasingly important in light of global developments. Those with patience and a focus on long-term value growth can use copper as a complementary investment to traditional precious metals. An investment can definitely be worthwhile – we would be happy to advise you in advance on both general and specific questions.
