Buying scrap gold in our branches

Choose an appointment for your jewelry purchase at Schloss Güldengossa or in Brainkofen. Please note that an appointment must be made for the purchase of old gold at Schloss Güldengossa. Our branch in the south of Germany (Brainkofen) is also available to buy old gold during normal opening hours. You can easily book an appointment online in the following overview.

We typically buy used gold on Tuesdays and Thursdays. To ensure we can devote sufficient time to you and minimize wait times, we recommend that you schedule an appointment in advance—either by phone or through our website.

We are also happy to schedule appointments outside of these times—please contact us in advance by phone or email.
Generally, no special preparation is required for your appointment to sell your old gold. Please bring a valid ID card with you if you plan to sell. If you present a passport, we will also need a current certificate of residence to verify your information. For items valued at over € 50,000, proof of origin is also required.

For items such as dental gold or table knives, it is helpful if any non-precious metal deposits, fillings, or components—for example, on knife handles—have been removed in advance.
Payment will be made once your precious metals have been successfully inspected and appraised. Depending on the value of the goods and the terms of our agreement, payment can be made on the spot or via bank transfer.
No. We cannot purchase, remove, or return gemstones from jewelry.
Yes. We also, of course, pay for significant amounts of platinum and palladium, such as those found in white gold.
