The Geiger Edelmetalle AG is a medium-sized family owned company, which is obligated to the trade of high-quality products made of gold, silver, platinum, palladium and copper.
At the same time the Geiger Edelmetalle AG is an Associate Member of the Mint Directors Conference and Affiliate Member of the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA).

Geiger Edelmetalle AG is one of only 143 members of this organization worldwide. The LBMA, based in the British capital, was founded in 1987 by the Bank of England and sets and monitors the standards in the international gold and silver trade.
Fachvereinigung Edelmetalle
As an industrial association founded in 1948, the FVEM - Fachvereinigung Edelmetalle e.V. represents the economic policy concerns of the German precious metals industry at federal level towards federal politicians, the EU Commission, the European Parliament as well as national and international organizations.

The main company goal is to acquire permanently satisfied customers with high trust in our company by the work of our employees. For this reason, we meet our customers with respect, advise them fair and objectively and convince with excellent services. Due to the strategic cooperation with our sister company, the Leipziger Edelmetallverarbeitung AG, we can offer our customers precious metals products of in-house production. We are always striving to offer our customers (trading partners like private customers equally) products, meeting their individual and commercial requirements perfectly.
In addition to delivery reliability, discretion and perfect service the excellent and impeccable quality is the spearheading effort of Geiger Edelmetalle. Here we do not accept any compromises neither do we tolerate half measures – the highest quality standards are our own and absolute binding criterion.
We offer our customers products, which have an almost unshakeable lasting value since nearly four thousand years and it is likely that they have the same perspective ahead of them. In this way we contribute to asset protection and pension scheme and we are well aware of the responsibility if our customers place their trust to our company and our products.
For us it goes without saying that we comply strictly with the legal requirements. This way we serve the interests of our customers as well, because only an absolutely correct and a legally watertight business will last forever and is according the real benefit for our customers.
Our corporate headquaters and the first registered office of our company is the Schloss Güldengossa near Leipzig, which was built in 1720. This real treasure of late Baroque is wedded with world-famous personalities such as Johann Sebastian Bach and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who were attached to precious metals as well. We continue with this tradition according to the contemporary circumstances for example by welcoming our private customers at the castle in Güldengossa and by issuing the precious metal edition Schloss Güldengossa in gold, silver, platinum, palladium and copper. We have respect for the substantial vestiges of the past. Beside to the baroque castle, which was exemplary renovated by the Geiger family, we preserved an industrial building from the 1930s from demolition. The former control room of the huge power plant Espenhain is now the domicile of our production, as well as for our logistics, high-security strongroom and our management.
Here we show our understanding and appreciation of sustainability: by preserving outstanding buildings from the past and by using them for meaningful economic activities we build a solid bridge to the present and the future. Our commitment to the Leipzig region is permanent and sustainable. This is also demonstrated by the big photovoltaic system on the roof of the control centre in Espenhain, the ecological water treatment system in the basement and the perfect circulation principle of the cooling water system of the melting plant.
Here you can see exemplary the base of the company philosophy of the Geiger Edelmetalle AG: we are deeply rooted in the outstanding achievements of previous generations and gaining strength of them.
By preserving their historical witnesses, we follow deliberately the best humanistic traditions German and European history and continue them here and in this moment. With the production and the disposal of products with lasting value and with high quality, security and attractiveness as well as with the gentle and sustainable use of such valuable resources like buildings, energy and water; we are building a bridge to the future for our customers and our company alike.
This is the only way we are able to dispose our products to customers in more than 30 countries and 4 continents. We are also the only private mint in Germany, which produce and distribute globally a silver bullion coin of a sovereign state – the Noah’s Ark, issued by the Armenian Central Bank.
