American Eagle - USA 1 oz gold coin
Please note, this product has been in circulation before. All gold coins are tested on their authenticity by our team of experts. Please note the image is just an example, not the actual coin. Please note that we deliver various years. The American Gold Eagle 1 oz is a bullion coin from the United States of America and is produced by the United States Mint. The Eagle bears the heraldic animal of the United States, the bald eagle, on the obverse. Further, you can see that the eagle holds an olive branch in its talons as a sign of peace and returns to its eagle's nest, where the female and chicks sit. Also located on the obverse is the $50 face value and weight of the coin. The reverse features "Lady Liberty" as well as the year of minting. Similar to the Krugerrand, the Eagle has an overall fineness of 916.67/1000, due to copper and silver still contained in the gold. Therefore, the Gold Eagle is also slightly heavier, weighing 33.930 grams instead of 31.1 grams, but the gold content is exactly equal to one troy ounce. Since 2021 there is a new motif for the American Eagle. Now an eagle head can be seen. On the value side, "Lady Liberty" is depicted, with an olive branch and a torch. The two symbols have always represented peace and freedom.Gold Eagle and Krugerrand have even more in common, because the first appearance of the Gold Eagle in 1986 is also the beginning of the boycott of South Africa, as a reaction to apartheid. The Krugerrand, as the predominant gold coin, was now banned and a market opportunity was recognized in the United States. But it did not remain with the "Krugerrand replacement" and even after the end of the boycott, the Gold Eagle remained in the assortment of the dealers as a sought-after gold investment. Today, the Eagle is a classic alongside the Vienna Philharmonic, Maple Leaf and Krugerrand. The biggest competition for the Eagle today comes from within its own ranks. Since 2006, the US Mint has been minting the American Buffalo, which has been gaining in popularity ever since and, unlike the Eagle, has a fineness of 999/1000. Despite all this, the sale of the Gold Eagle runs without problems at most dealers and banks, precisely because of its high degree of popularity. You can also purchase the American Gold Eagle in 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz and 1/10 oz sizes.Investment gold is exempt from tax under § 25c UStG.

Please note the image is just an example, not the actual coin. Please note that we deliver various years. As the successor to the popular and well-known 50 peso coin, the Mexican Libertad enjoys great popularity among gold investors. First minted in 1981, the Mexican Libertad is, along with the South African Krugerrand and the Canadian Maple Leaf, one of the oldest gold coins since the introduction of a uniform standard for bullion coins. As with the classic Krugerrand, the Mexican Libertad carries no face value; purity, fineness and material alone are shown on this precious gold coin. Nevertheless, it is considered official currency in Mexico, with the current gold value corresponding to the face value. It owes its name to the imprinted goddess of liberty "Libertad", which adorns the motif side of the coin as a winged figure. The reverse of the coin shows the official coat of arms of Mexico with an eagle and a snake.Due to the low mintage figures, this coin is suitable both as an investment and as a collector coin, because it is one of the rarest gold coins in the world.
