This is a 1/8 oz coin (equivalent to a fine weight of 3,8875 g) made of 999.9 fine gold. The face value of the coin is €20.
The 2013 “Kiefer” coin motif includes a single pine branch with the words “German Forest” and “Kiefer”.
The coin motif was designed by the Czech-German sculptor and medalist Frantisek Chochola from Hamburg.
The federal eagle and the mint mark of the mint were featured on the value side of the “German Forest” series.
The coin is minted in the high quality “Uncirculated” and issued jointly by the five German mints.
A total of a maximum of 200,000 copies of the last gold coin “Kiefer” were issued. The commemorative coin was produced in the five German mints (40,000 pieces each).
