Please note that there is no statutory right of withdrawal for the purchase of precious metals in our online store if the price of the goods depends on fluctuations in the financial market over which we have no control and which may occur within the withdrawal period.

This applies in particular to products made of gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and copper, such as bullion, coins, medals, historical numismatic items, and other precious metal products whose value fluctuates with market prices.

The exclusion of the right of withdrawal is based on Section 312g(2)(8) of the German Civil Code (BGB). That provision stipulates that the right of withdrawal does not apply, among other things, to contracts for goods whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market over which the business operator has no influence and which may occur within the withdrawal period.

In our online store, returns are generally only accepted for products that are not course-specific and have not been custom-made or personalized. These include, in particular, accessories such as coin capsules, coin pouches, tubes, cases, boxes, display frames, or other unfilled packaging and storage items. These product groups are listed under “Accessories” in the store.

Custom-made or personalized products—such as items with special embossing or those manufactured according to customer specifications—may also be excluded from the right of withdrawal. The legal basis for this is Section 312g(2)(1) of the German Civil Code (BGB).
