The first motif of these gold coins in 2016 was a singing nightingale, designed by the artist Bodo Broschat from Berlin.
The coin motif is by artist Adelheid Fuss from Schwielowsee/Geltow, who also designed the value side of the entire series. It shows a white stork standing on one leg in the nest.
